The Welsh Sheepdog is probably the best working sheepdog breed in the world and is the indigenous sheepdog breed of Wales,  It is an ancient and rare breed that can be traced back in written records in Wales to approximately the 14th century and can still be found working stock, performing Search and Rescue tasks, and featuring prominently on the agility circuit's in the 21st century. Not bad, for an old Drovers Dog!

Puppies will be vaccinated and wormed. vet checked, and come with a four generation pedigree.  Both parents work, and are registered with the Welsh Sheepdog Society.  However, please be aware that this breed is a demanding, highly motivated and very intelligent breed!  COUCH POTATOES NEED NOT APPLY!  Working homes are not “essential”, but advantageous!

The GCS is a new hybrid, pure breed Welsh Sheepdog - pure breed Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

The Great Cambrian Shepherd should show aptitude to work as an extremely useful, natural and instinctive working breed, incorporating stock protection, loose eye herding ability and great intelligence!  A working home is not essential, but would be advantageous!

This is a very attractive breed and in the right home can also make a very suitable family pet & protector.  However, prospective buyers must be aware that this dog is a long coated, large to giant breed!  The Pups were born on 25th & 26th March 2010 and are now becoming ready to go their new homes.  The puppies are wormed, fully Parvo inoculated and Vet checked.  They also come with a Pedigree Style, signed up to 5 generation family history certificate.  Twelve puppies were born, however there are now only six unsold pups, so to avoid disappointment please call or email me, or for any further information that you my require.
